HPC Seminar and Career Discussion
November 11, 2021 12:30 – 1:30 PM
Register via BlueJeans Below
Women in High-Performance Computing @ GT chapter was launched in Dec. 2020. In March 2021 we hosted a Heavy Hitters Panel event with six well-known female HPC researchers nationwide, which was very successful.
Our mission is to increase the diversity and inclusiveness of the HPC community. We actively plan events and seminars to encourage and help young female researchers join the HPC field where women are underrepresented. The next event will be an HPC seminar by Georgia Tech Female professors; we invited three well-established female professors to introduce their research and their HPC journey:
Dr. Elizabeth Cherry – Associate Professor in the School of Computational Science and Engineering
Dr. Xiuwei Zhang – Assistant Professor in the School of Computational Science and Engineering
Dr. Diyi Yang – Assistant Professor in the School of Interactive Computing
